They all have one element in common: Artificial Intelligence
At the same event in which Xiaomi announced the arrival of its new models of the Xiaomi 12T series, the Chinese manufacturer has presented new products for the home, all of them linked to Artificial Intelligence: the Redmi Pad Tablet, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro, the Redmi Buds 4 Pro headphones, the Xiaomi TV Q2 television and the Robot Vacuum X10+ robot vacuum cleaner. We then go in parts to count their specifications before we can test them.

The new Redmi Pad aims, at least for its characteristics, at the audiovisual experience : four speakers equipped with Dolby Atmos, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a 10.61″ screen. From Xiaomi they highlight that it is the first tablet in the world to receive the SGS certification of low visual fatigue. It incorporates an 8MP wide-angle front camera (105º), an 8,000 mAh battery (good), with a 22.5 W charger (not so good). To this is added a RAM memory from 3 GB and storage of 64GB. The most interesting thing is its price, very competitive: less than $300, but if we buy the Xiaomi 12 T Pro (price $749), the tablet comes as a gift with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Until October 12 there is time for this offer.

The Redmi Buds 4 Pro headphones have a design that is not far from what we are used to wearing in headphones. Good battery, with an autonomy of 9 hours that reach up to 36 thanks to the charging case. For now we do not know its charging time or the power of the charger. Of course, they incorporate noise cancellation of three microphones, paired with AI algorithms to accurately identify the human voice and ambient noise. Its price is $99 but, as with the tablet, there is an offer: those who buy the Xiaomi 12T will receive them as a gift.

Xiaomi’s new robot vacuum cleaner solves one of the big problems: its interior cleaning. PHOTO: Xiaomi
And finally the Robot Vacuum X10+, the latest in Xiaomi’s range of robot vacuum cleaners. With this new model, Xiaomi has improved mapping in the home, thanks to three different technologies (camera, sensors and AI) and has solved one of the great obstacles of this type of robot: its cleaning.. The Vacuum X10+ is designed to perform with a smart foundation. There everything that has been collected is emptied, the mop pads are cleaned, the water tank is refilled and the brushes are dried with hot water to avoid odours. The tank only needs to be emptied every 30 days (on average, it will logically depend on the size of the home and the frequency of cleaning). It is also a “superficial polyvalent” robot: it adapts to surfaces such as “hard” but also to carpets: its mop can lift itself when the built-in sensor detects it. It has a suction power of 4,000 Pa. Because it incorporates a map of the home inside and can be controlled remotely, its security was taken into account and it is certified by TÃœV Rheinland in accordance with its cybersecurity and data protection standards.
